Tim Burton has directed the latest spin-off of the 90s popular animated series, The Addams Family. Wednesday TV series is based on the teenage daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, Wednesday when she enrolls in Nevermore Academy. The school is for teenagers possessing supernatural abilities and other outcasts of society.
Wednesday’s cast has many familiar faces as well as newcomers. Let’s take a look at them:
Jenna Ortega – Wednesday Addams
The sadistic teenage girl is sent to Nevermore Academy, the school of social outcasts after she tries to murder students in her previous school.
Catherine Zeta-Jones – Morticia Addams
Mother to two kids, Morticia Addams is a matriarch and a psychic who attended Nevermore Academy 30 years ago.
Luis Guzmán – Gomez Addams
An adoring husband and a doting father, Gomez is connected to a deadly mystery linked to a murder of a Jericho resident three decades ago. Wednesday unravels the mystery when she attends Nevermore.
Isaac Ordonez – Pugsley Addams
Pugsley Addams is Wednesday’s younger brother. Pugsley gets bullied and brings out her elder sister’s protective side that she hides behind her cold and harsh exterior.
Fred Armisen – Uncle Fester
Even though Wednesday is not fond of adults, she adores her eccentric Uncle Fester. Although she has never said it out loud. Also, she trusts that Uncle Fester will always be ready to help her with his knowledge of the Dark Arts.
Gwendoline Christie – Larissa Weems
Larissa Weems is the principal of Nevermore Academy. She and Morticia studied together and were rivals during their time at Nevermore.
Christina Ricci – Marilyn Thornhill
Thornhill is the only normal teacher at Nevermore. She acts as the dorm mom to the students and puts her all effort into getting Wednesday to trust her. Ricci played the young Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values.
Moosa Mostafa – Eugene Otinger
The leader of the bookkeeping club, he is Wednesday’s friend and reminds her of her brother, Pugsley.
Emma Myers – Enid Sinclair
A colorful and jolly person, she is Wednesday’s roommate and is a werewolf as well. Even though both seem that they might not be cut out for each other, they find out that they can learn a lot from each other.
Hunter Doohan – Tyler Galpin
He is a normal person who lives near Nevermore Academy. Tyler is Sheriff Donovan Galpin’s son and works as a barista. He has a crush on Wednesday, the new goth girl. Although he has boy-next-door vibes, he has a dark past.
Percy Hynes White – Xavier Thorpe

A psychic painter, Xavier is a mysterious boy at Nevermore who gets Wednesday’s attention despite her initial wariness towards the opposite sex. He can make his paintings leap off the canvas.
Joy Sunday – Bianca Barclay
A powerful siren, Bianca can persuade people to her whim and make them do what she wants. However, despite her hard mean girl exterior, she is hiding her struggles and family secrets.
Georgie Farmer – Ajax Petropolus
A Gorgon and a Nevermore student, Georgie is a creature from Greek mythology who can turn people into stone by looking at them.
Jamie McShane – Sheriff Donovan Galpin
Raised and born in Jericho, Sheriff Donovan Galpin is Tyler Galpin’s father. He always had an issue with Nevermore Academy and a vendetta against Gomez Addams.
Victor Dorobantu’s Right Hand – Thing
A helping hand to Wednesday, (literally), he is Wednesday’s partner in crime. He helps her investigate murders while watching out for her and ensuring she has regular teen experiences.
