A Star is Born
Bette Davis was born on 5 th of April 1908 in Lowell Massachusetts; she was an ordinary girl in her young age. Influenced by her early education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York she began to target Hollywood and signed a contract with Universal Pictures in 1931. her early roles only allowed this actress to be forgotten easily, but she was not contented with those roles for very longSec.
In 1934, Davis left First National, and Warner Brothers became her new studio – the move which turned out to be a turning point in her career. She was soon giving her first Academy Award nomination for her role in Of Human Bondage (1934) that formally introduced her to Hollywood as one of the most formidable talents. It was, however, her role in Dangerous (1935), for which she got her first Oscar, that really catapulted her to stardom.

Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, Davis became the epitome of a Hollywood star, known for her versatility and dedication to her craft.
She was either the tragic heroine, or the villainous temptress, and she was always excellent and often revolutionary in the role.
