Why Cornflower Seeds?
Cornflowers are notable for their brilliant blue petals, which have inspired a colour named after them: ‘Cornflower Blue.’ The flower represents good hope for the future and is one of the many blooms featured in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Superbloom display at the Tower of London. These easy-to-grow wildflowers are fantastic for bees and butterflies, and they bloom from June to September.
It has been a hard year for many people in the UK and throughout the world, and the company wants to help spread hope among its customers as well as communities. The Platinum Jubilee is a moment for celebration, and we hope that the cornflowers, with their striking blue hue, will reflect brighter and more positive days ahead through our millions of Seeds of Hope boxes.
