Michelle Pfeiffer does really well playing Janet Van Dyne – she moves the story forward effectively, while Evangeline Lilly’s Hope character isn’t particularly remarkable. Her part feels almost unnecessary since her personality doesn’t make enough impact throughout most of her screen time.
